ISO/IEC 19752 standard was established with help of printer manufacturers, i.e. HP, Canon, Lexmark, which approved it as industry standard used to specify toner cartridge performance based on the quantity of printed standard pages. ISO/IEC 19752 is currently the only reliable, defined method allowing to compare the yield of cartridges of different manufacturers according to strictly specified variables. It describes in details procedures how to measure the yield of cartridges used in monochrome laser printers and precisely defines environmental conditions to be met to judge the tests as correct and objective. |
